Umpire Scheduler for 2011 Season

MCAA Diamond Sports is looking for someone to fill
the role of Umpire Scheduler (coordinator) for the
2011 Season. This is a seasonal position (Feb-June)
that only requires a couple hours a week once
the Baseball/Softball season starts. Umpire scheduling
is done via a website and nearly all the games are
self-assigned by the umpires. Work is mostly using
emails and making sure there is 100% coverage on all games.
Position does include a compensation stipend upon completion of the season.

July 2009—Ross Herda just returned from a trip to Delaware. He was at Sports At The Beach near Rehoboth Bay, Delaware for a week. Ross was invited down by a local 14 yr old AAU team, the Souhegan Valley Saints. While there, he umpired 9 games in 5 days. Teams that participated in the Summer Classic Tournament came from all over the country as did the other professional umpires. The above picture is an aerial photo of the complex. It includes 16 fields, numerous concession/food centers, dorms, training facilities, and more. The website is http://www.sportsatthebeach.com/
