1956 - MCAA conceived and designed by 7 Milford Civic Groups

1957 - MCAA Charters with State of NH – First Year of activity. First program – Biddy League Basketball

1970 - MCAA establishes first Pop Warner football team in NH

1980 - MCAA establishes Baseball Minor league – instantly doubling enrollment.

MCAA takes over Soccer program established by Milford JCs in 1978 (Russ Monbleau, Dean Jackson, Ed Nichols).

MCAA Fields Project proposed and MCAA Breaks ground on North River Road

1981 - First completed field named in memory of James York

1982 - Opening Day at North River Road. MCAA Initiates State’s longest running Recreational Soccer Invitational Tournament. Constitution completely revised

1983 - Kaley Diamond completed

1984 - Perham Diamond completed

1985 - Baseball Clinic program established – first year enrollment 76 players.

MCAA establishes first two softball teams, Stars and Belles

1986 - Begin Construction of Concession Stand at NRR

1987 - Concession Stand open for business

1992 - MCAA joins Babe Ruth Bambino Division

1993 - MCAA establishes Travel Soccer Program. MCAA sponsors Youth Wrestling program until Schools can fund it

1994 - MCAA lights up Kaley Soccer Field at NRR

1995 - MCAA finally achieves Federal Tax exemption status

1996 - MCAA assumes control of Souhegan Softball League; doubles program size in first year – expands to 7 towns

1997 - MCAA upgrades softball program

1998 - MCAA aligns Softball with Babe Ruth MCAA Hosts Babe Ruth Softball 16U New England Regionals

1999 - MCAA Bambino All Stars win New England Regionals – advance to World Series in Vincennes, Ind. Softball expands to cover ages 7-18

2000 - Cal Ripkin (Formerly named Bambino) All Stars win Districts

2000 - Souhegan Valley 10U Softball All Stars runners-up in State Championship Tournament

2001 - MCAA Hosts Babe Ruth Softball 12U New England Regionals Souhegan Valley Softball 12U All Stars win New England Regionals –advance to World Series in Pine Bluff, Ark. Former MCAA coaches and players now fill all baseball, softball, and soccer coaching slots at MHS

2002 - MCAA creates Ed Nichols Memorial Community Service Award

MCAA Souhegan Valley Babe Ruth Softball 14U All Stars win District, State and New England Regional titles.

MCAA installs irrigation system at North River Road facility.

2008 - MCAA dedicated the North River Road fields complex to longtime volunteer, coach, umpire, director and board member (to name a few) Russ Monbleau.

The newly named "Russ Monbleau Youth Sports Complex" will serve to honor Russ's 30 plus years of service and devotion to the MCAA.

New pavilion and picnic tables built at the Russ Monbleau Youth Sports Complex.
